In the UK 31 million tonnes of, often edible, food is binned per year. I’m No Waster, is a service that re-distributes edible surplus food that would be disposed of by supermarkets back to university campus shops. Students can then purchase this food via the app, at a discounted price. The service is complimented by a campaign promoting how to save food and tips on how to reduce food waste day-to-day.
